What exactly is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM that you install on a compatible phone. A travel data eSIM gives you mobile internet without swapping out a physical SIM card.
Will it work on my phone?
Your phone needs eSIM support and must be unlocked for use with another network. Support can vary by exact model and country of purchase. Use our to check your settings.
Can I keep my WhatsApp and normal number?
You can keep using your existing WhatsApp account over the travel data connection. This proposed data-only eSIM does not include a local phone number, standard calls or SMS. If you leave your home line on for calls or texts, your home carrier may charge for roaming. Turn off data roaming on your home line.
When should I install and activate it?
Install over Wi-Fi before you need mobile data. The final supplier's instructions will explain exactly when your plan starts and how long you have to activate it. Installation and activation are not always the same thing.
How much data should I choose?
Think about how much time you'll spend on Wi-Fi and whether you'll stream video or use a hotspot. Maps and messages typically use less data than video. Our offers a starting point, not a usage guarantee.
